Dolphins vs Cowboys in Hall of Fame Game

Sunday, August 4 at 8pm in Canton, Ohio, the National Football League will commence on another new season beginning with the annual Hall of Fame game, this time featuring the Miami Dolphins vs. the Dallas Cowboys. Both teams missed out on the playoffs in 2012 and had very disappointing seasons, so this will be an opportunity for both to get off the ground running.

The Dolphins will be introducing the 3rd pick in the Draft, defensive end Dion Jordan, who according to reports has been tearing up the Dolphins offensive line in scrimmages thus far. They will also feature a new starting running back in Lamar Miller, who will be replacing former running back Reggie Bush, who moved onto the Lions this offseason. And they will be acclimating rookie kicker Caleb Sturgis into the mix immediately.

For the Cowboys, one notable offseason acquisition that should see a good amount of duty is backup quarterback Kyle Orton. He may end up playing a large role on this team if Tony Romo (who is still recuperating from back surgery) continues to sputter at the helm. A lot of pundits believe that the Cowboys have one of the strongest linebacker tandems in the NFL with Justin Durant, Bruce Carter, and Sean Lee.  Free agent safety Will Allen comes over from Pittsburgh to lead the defensive backs. This team is still loaded with stars such as Dez Bryant, DeMarcus Ware, and Jason Witten.

Tune in Sunday night and catch all the Live Game Action from Canton, Ohio. The Dolphins are Nevada’s Sports Books favorites at 2.5 points with a 33 point line on the Total. That may change up till kickoff, but one thing that won’t change is another year of action packed football ahead.

In this matchup we like the Dallas Cowboys as our Free Pick.
